Soul Friends

The Soul Friends Program grew out of our Soul Sisters Women's Empowerment Program becaus many men were asking to be allowed to participate in the various events throughout the year. Recognizing the need and desire for social activities that include all people, we transformed our Soul Sisters group into what is now known as Soul Friends. This group welcomes all people, regardless of age, gender, gender expression, etc. Isaiah 58 Ministries provides Soul Friends numerous opportunities for individuals and families in our community to come together, get to know one another, build relationships and improve their lives.

Through our various events and classes, individuals gain needed knowledge about a multitude of issues in order to better navigate through life while building bonds with one another that will last a lifetime. Programming includes:

  • Lunch and Learn events with speakers from the local community speaking on important topics, including health, tenant rights, domestic violence, guardianship etc
  • Family Fun Days/Picnics where individuals are invited to bring their families and enjoy great food, wonderful fellowship and fun with one another.
  • Field trips are planned periodically throughout the year to allow individuals to explore our wonderful city and experience a variety of new and interesting places.
