On Saturday, July 21, 2018 Isaiah 58 Ministries hosted its 5th annual Family Fun Day and Back-to-School Fair. Over 150 children, along with their parents, participated in the events of the day.
Children once again enjoyed the dunk tank and bouncy houses outside along with fresh spun cotton candy! Lunch was also provided for everyone who attended.
Thanks to BRO, summer activity kits that included books and art supplies were also distributed to every child.
Cyndy Fleissner from Bonhomme Presbyterian Church provided healthy snacks and recipes for children, educating them about eating healthy, and with support from Bonhomme Presbyterian Church, Cyndy distributed outdoor toys to every child in order to get and keep them active (basketballs, soccer balls, hula hoops, etc.).
Following lunch, Isaiah 58 Ministries held a short “Blessing of the Backpack” service, followed by the distribution of backpacks filled with school supplies, socks and underwear, a $30 gift card to Famous Footwear and a bag full of other goodies.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who gave of their time to make this a successful event. Thank you also to all of the churches who so generously donated school supplies!
You are truly a blessing!
