The Capital Campaign for a New Building for Isaiah 58

We are launching a bold campaign that will allow us to meet the needs of today and the dreams of tomorrow for thousands more in our community. More than bricks and mortar, this new building is about creating a safe haven where families are nourished, neighbors are cared for, and the community grows in hope. We invite you to join us in this mission. With your partnership, we are working beyond brokenness to create a beloved community for generations to come.

“I feel like this place shows God’s love in concrete ways and it’s in my neighborhood. The guests that come are here in South City and they are my neighbors. I know some by name and I enjoy my interaction with them. I worry about people if I don’t see them for a while. That is what being a neighbor is all about. I love the people. I love the compassionate service provided by so many.”

Peek inside our new building

Our new space will have more shower stalls, a reception/waiting area for guests, room for community events, an expanded clothing and sorting room, and a food pantry with grocery-style aisles and shelves. All of these improvements will help us serve more people than ever before and most importantly, allow them to experience dignity, belonging and the opportunity to thrive.

* These are architectural renderings based on the unimproved space. The building is currently in the demo phase and construction will begin soon.

Keep up with construction

The need for the services we offer continues to grow. In 2021, we had 6,670 visits to the ministry. In 2025, that number grew to over 16,000. This is an average increase of 25% per year over the last four years. Our current space limits us from expanding programs to continue to meet this need.

Also, our space has been sold and we need to move out.

We need to raise $5.2 million in total.

  • $1M for building purchase
  • $4.2M for renovations and accessibility upgrades

The new home for Isaiah 58 Ministries is located at 4164 Chippewa St., Saint Louis, MO 63116.

Poverty rate in 63118 and 63116 are 23% and 17.4% respectively. Child poverty rates are 35.6% and 23% respectively. The need is great and the available services are few.
