For many years, Isaiah 58 Ministries has hosted a monthly mobile market in cooperation with the St. Louis Area Foodbank. At the beginning of the pandemic, we quickly identified changes that would need to be made to ensure everyone’s safety while also continuing to provide an abundance of food to those in need.
Partnering with the St Louis Area Foodbank and Habitat for Humanity, in May and June we were able to move to a drive-thru mobile market in the parking lot of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. This allowed us to serve over 100 families in under two hours, distributing large amounts of healthy food to the community. Many thanks to our volunteers, and the Missouri National Guard, who helped make this possible.
