“It” is back for December 2021!

By Joyce Blackwell, Board Member

In late July, a guest asked whether “IT” was going to happen again this year. By August, “IT” was a conversation topic every few days. In mid-September the word got out that “IT” was most definitely going to happen. The inquires became more specific: “When can I register for my time slot?  Will “IT” be like last year? I really liked how “IT” worked last year!  Tell me, what do I need to have to register?”

“IT” is the Holiday Store!  Each December, Isaiah 58 Ministries creates a holiday gift shopping experience for our guests. The store provides thoughtfully curated NEW household items, age-appropriate toys, socks, underwear, personal care items, stocking stuffers and other non-clothing merchandise at modest prices.

Guests register for an appointment time to shop in the store for their families. This enables social distancing and allows each guest to have a volunteer “elf” assist them. This personalized experience is so appreciated by our guests who spend so much of their time and energy caring for others.

Please help make this holiday season merrier and brighter

The individuals and families served by Isaiah 58 Ministries are among the most vulnerable in our region. They have been adversely impacted by COVID-19 and continue to struggle with food and housing insecurity, many are also dealing with health and disability issues. Their resources are stretched to the breaking point.

The Isaiah 58 Ministries Holiday Store enables our guests to shop for holiday gifts for their loved ones with dignity.

Pandemic-related manufacturing and shipping delays are projected to cause a massive gift shortage in 2021. Help ensure that Isaiah 58 Ministries families are provided for. Donate NOW!
