Have questions about our capital campaign? We have answers!

As we move into the public phase of our campaign, Answering the Call, your overwhelming support has been both humbling and energizing. From neighbors to church partners to volunteers to civic leaders to longtime friends to new supporters, the reaction to our new location has made it clear the need for a center of belonging and connection is there.

We are working diligently to prepare for this upcoming move. We know you may have questions, and we hope this helps to answer some of those!

The need for the services we offer continues to grow. In 2021, we had 6,670 visits to the ministry. In 2025, that number grew to over 16,000. This is an average increase of 25% per year over the last four years. Our current space limits us from expanding programs to continue to meet this need.

Also, our space has been sold and we need to move out.

We need to raise $5.2 million in total.

  • $1M for building purchase
  • $4.2M for renovations and accessibility upgrades

While the need for our services has grown, our space has not. Hallways are currently doubling as waiting rooms, offices are shared and crowded, and our food pantry aisles are too narrow to accommodate shopping carts or those with mobility aids. We are also only able to offer the shower ministry 1 day a week for 3 hours. With 1 shower stall, the need is greater than we can accommodate.

Our new space will have more shower stalls, a reception/waiting area for guests, room for community events, an expanded clothing and sorting room, and a food pantry with grocery-style aisles and shelves.

All of these improvements will help us serve more people than ever before and most importantly, allow them to experience dignity, belonging and the opportunity to thrive.

Our current space has been sold. The new owners are renovating and need the entire space for their programming.
