October 11, 2022 was a night to remember as we celebrated 50 years of “nourishing our community” with friends, volunteers and supporters of Isaiah 58 Ministries.
What a joy it was to step away from our Zoom gatherings and instead get together in person for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. Laughter was abundant and many hugs were shared among friends.
Over 100 people gathered at a.casa and enjoyed incredible food and wonderful music while visiting with one another and making connections with those who have supported our ministry over the past 50 years. The weather was beautiful and the evening was perfect for the gathering.
Now that we have had a moment to catch our breath, we want to again acknowledge that we would not exist today without the ongoing support of so many throughout the St. Louis region (and beyond). To you we offer our thanks. You help our ministry thrive.
And to everyone who made our 50th Anniversary celebration so incredible, a HUGE thank you! Your generous offerings for the event helped make the evening spectacular. Special thanks to:
- Jenifer Garcia and Garcia properties for such a lovely venue – a.casa
- Mickey Kitterman and crew for the amazingly delicious food and flower arrangements
- Diane Richardson and Joe Miller Strings Attached for wonderful and uplifting music
- Our planning team – Greta Buck, Darrell and Marty Hughes, Amy Repp, Kathy Swaller, and Deb Yerkes for all the time and energy offered to ensure a beautiful evening
Isaiah 58 Ministries has grown and evolved over the years, always striving to meet the ever-shifting needs within the community. And while many of the programs have changed, the core of our ministry remains the same – serving our guests and our community with dignity and respect, and always working to make connections, build relationships and celebrate and embrace the diversity around us.
The 50th Anniversary celebration was an opportunity to celebrate all that we have accomplished throughout the years, and lift up the many people who have made it possible.
Thank you everyone, for your incredible support. Working together, we will continue to nourish our community with love and compassion for years to come.
