A New Home for a Growing Mission

After months of searching, discerning, negotiating, and dreaming, Isaiah 58 Ministries is thrilled to share a milestone that will shape our future for decades to come: we have purchased a new building at 4164 Chippewa Street.

This moment did not come easily—or quickly. As our programs have grown and the number of neighbors seeking food and support has steadily increased, it became clear that our longtime space could no longer meet the needs of the community we serve. We began searching for a building that would allow us to grow with intention and move closer to the neighborhood where hunger and hardship are most present.

What we needed was not just more square footage, but the right space: a place where our choice food pantry could expand, where volunteers could be welcomed and equipped, and where partnerships could flourish—a true heart and hub for dignity, nourishment, and connection. Over many months, we toured buildings, weighed possibilities, and asked careful questions about stewardship and sustainability. When we found 4164 Chippewa, we knew we had found more than a building—we had found a home.

This new location places Isaiah 58 Ministries squarely in the community we serve, increasing accessibility for neighbors while giving us the flexibility to respond to rising food insecurity with compassion and efficiency. It represents both immediate impact and long-term vision—a space designed not only for today’s needs, but for the future of this ministry.

We will mark this exciting new chapter with a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m., celebrating what has already been accomplished and what lies ahead. This milestone is possible because so many have already answered the call—through prayer, volunteer hours, advocacy, and generous financial support.

As we look ahead to renovating and transforming this space into all that it can be, we invite you to continue Answering the Call with us. Together, we are building more than walls. We are building hope, stability, and a place where neighbors are met with dignity and care—today, and for generations to come.
