Isaiah 58 Ministries is blessed with many generous supporters who donate food, clothing, time, and financial resources. One such partner, Sports Medicine and Training Center, owned and managed by Robbie and Scott Van Nest, is a small business with a very big heart.
The Center, which has been in business for over 20 years, has a state-of-the-art rehabilitation and training center in Crestwood. When the pandemic began, they provided a donation box where members of their community could bring in food and clothing. They continue this important support today. Their website and Instagram posts make sure folks are aware of the opportunity to help others and the particular needs of the ministry. Robbie Van Nest explained that the goal of the Center “is to help people get better and stay better…we meet people where they are and help take them where they want to be.” To further that goal, the Center offers fitness classes in addition to physical therapy services. The Center also recognizes that for some folks the ability to give back is an important part of getting and staying healthy.
Brenda Booth, Isaiah 58 Ministry Executive Director, appreciates the folks at Sports Medicine and Training Center and noted “the Center is an important partner to our ministry and demonstrates that businesses of any size and type can play a large role in nourishing the community.”
