At Isaiah 58 Ministries, we often say that no single person, congregation, or organization can do this work alone. Every meal shared, every bag of groceries distributed, every shower offered, and every act of hospitality extended is made possible through the power of partnership.
Our ministry is rooted in collaboration. This can be seen through the many churches, businesses, volunteers, foundations, community organizations, and individual donors who come together to ensure that our neighbors experience not only essential services, but also dignity, compassion, and belonging. Together, we are building beloved community.
As we continue our journey toward a new home at 4164 Chippewa Street, we are especially grateful for one partnership that helped make this dream possible: the Disciples Church Extension Fund (DCEF).
As the lending arm of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), DCEF has a long history of helping ministries and congregations bring their visions to life. When Isaiah 58 Ministries began exploring the possibility of purchasing a larger building to better serve our growing community, DCEF saw the potential of what this new space could mean for thousands of individuals and families throughout South St. Louis.
Their support is more than financial. They believe in our vision. They recognize the importance of creating a place where neighbors can access healthy food, clothing, showers, educational opportunities, and meaningful connections. Their partnership has helped pave the way for us to purchase our future home and take the next step in expanding our impact.
This is what collaboration looks like. It is people and organizations working together toward a common purpose. It is trust, shared values, and a commitment to creating positive change.
We are deeply grateful to DCEF and to all of our partners who continue to walk alongside us. Because of your support, we are not simply constructing a building—we are building relationships, strengthening community, and creating a place where hope can flourish for generations to come.
