Our Annual Celebration was a smashing success with wonderful food prepared by Mickey Kitterman, incredible music by the Gaslight Squares and fun for the whole crowd.
Thank you to everyone who worked to make this event happen including the many volunteers who helped create such an inviting setting. We had great beverages thanks to a generous donation of beer and wine and The Big O Ginger Liqueur (that offered our signature drink, a ginger margarita). Our bourbon tasting was a smashing hit presented by our local expert, Roger Bertschausen.
Also, thank you to everyone who purchased “securities” to secure the future of Isaiah 58 Ministries. It is because of generous donations by you and others that we are able to serve so many in our community.
As we take a look at all the ministry that has happened in 2018, we want to again send out a thank you to everyone who has graciously and selflessly given of their time and energy to Isaiah 58 Ministries, including all of our wonderful volunteers who come on a regular basis.
On that note, we want to apologize to the volunteers and volunteer groups who were inadvertently left out of our Annual Report due to a snafu in editing.
A special shout out goes to those volunteers, including: Jim O, Carol P, Susan P, Marsha R, Amy R, Linus R, Susan R, Sylvia S, Mary S, Dale S, Carol S, Steve S, Jean S, Darryl S, Kathy S, Chris T, Donna T, Bill T, Don T, Mary T, Wendy T, Undray T, LaNita V, Cathy W, Kelly W, Sharon Y.
And to the mission groups, including: Wartburg College, Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, West Des Moines Christian Church, Wyman Center.
Without ALL of our volunteers, this ministry would not be possible.
We look forward to another year of serving our community with help from our friends and supporters.
