Isaiah 58 Ministries is seeking qualified applicants for our Ministry Associate position.

Job Title: Ministry Associate
Reports to: Executive Director
Job Purpose: The Ministry Associate works to ensure smooth and timely pick-ups of donated food throughout the week and works to maintain a clean and orderly work environment. The Ministry Associate also assists the Program Director and Executive Director where needed and as available throughout the week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with coworkers, volunteers, guests, agencies, churches, and donors.
- Perform daily cleaning duties as outlined in Task List.
- Maintain janitorial supplies and inform Executive Director when janitorial supplies are needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assist with food pick-ups on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at assigned locations, receiving food, sorting onto the truck and unloading food upon arrival at the ministry.
- Assist with the receiving and recording of all in-kind donations.
- Assist with other donation pick-ups as needed during regular work hours.
- Attend and assist with fundraising/community events.
- Assist in other areas as needed and as time allows.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to follow directions
- Self-directed
- Attention to detail
- Willing to work with others in close proximity to one another/Must be a “team player”
- Have compassion and empathy for others
- This is a position that requires flexibility as the needs within the ministry can vary on a daily basis
Hours and Compensation
20 hours per week
Hours
- Monday 7:30am – 2:30pm
- Tuesday 8:00am – 12:00noon
- Thursday 8:00am – 12:00noon
- Friday 7:30am – 2:30pm
Starting pay $18 per hour to be reviewed after 6 months
2 weeks paid vacation + paid holidays
