December brought us an abundance of holiday celebrations, and we were grateful to be able to serve our community with a spirit of joy and cheer.
Our Holiday Store was open for guests to shop for gifts for their loved ones. The energy in this year’s store was contagious – so much laughter, delight, and gratitude! Each guest shopped with their very own “elf”, selecting gifts at modest prices. The categories of items included: holiday decorations, toys, stocking stuffers, household, personal care, socks, underwear, books, and sparkly converse tennis shoes! The Isaiah 58 Ministries holiday store enabled our guests to shop for holiday gifts for their loved ones with dignity.
Our Christmas Food Distribution served families with food for their holiday tables, and a grocery gift card to meet additional needs. We gathered on a chilly morning to serve the community and wish each other a happy holiday season. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces.
This was all made possible by the success of our Buy A Bird program, the generosity of our donors, the time of our volunteers, and the grace of our guests. We are grateful for everyone who participated.
