On February 20, 2023 our Isaiah 58 Ministries community came together to celebrate Mardi Gras with an old fashioned pancake supper – the first such celebration since before 2020 and the pandemic restrictions.
Volunteer chefs provided delicious pancakes, egg casserole and sausage. More than 100 pantry guests, supporters, volunteers, staff, and neighbors bedecked in colorful beads enjoyed good food, fellowship, and fun. At the crafts table, the younger set employed large quantities of glitter, feathers, glue, markers, and construction paper to create Mardi Gras masks and other masterpieces.
Once again, our supporters demonstrated their unfailing generosity with a free will offering; one which will help ensure that Isaiah 58 Ministries will continue to nourish the community with sustenance for body and soul.
A special thanks to Board President Greta Buck for organizing a truly amazing evening.
