Imagine not having a place to call home.
Imagine wondering where you will get your next meal.
Imagine living a life where every day you are searching for a place to lay your head at night.
Imagine not having a way to take a shower and wash away the day’s dust and chaos.
Homelessness is a reality for many in Saint Louis and it presents many challenges for those experiencing it. While Isaiah 58 Ministries is limited in the services we are able to provide to our homeless neighbors, we strive to help in whatever ways we can: offering easy and nutritious food that requires minimal preparation, providing a change of clothes when needed as well as coats, hats, gloves and socks, and providing bedding when available.
With this in mind, Isaiah 58 Ministries is excited to share that Compton Heights Christian Church (where Isaiah 58 Ministries is located) has launched a capital campaign for improvements that will include the renovation of two bathrooms on the ground level of the church. The plans for these renovations include installing a shower in one of these bathrooms. Our clients who are homeless and have no other place to shower, will have access to these new facilities.
Because Isaiah 58 Ministries and our ministry community will benefit from these renovations, we have committed to raising $10,000 towards the renovations.
If you would like to make a donation to our Shower Fund, you can do so by clicking here https://i58ministries.org/donate/.
Any funds raised above the $10,000 will be invested for future capital improvements.
