TEFAP Now Available

In November 2025, Isaiah 58 Ministries was onboarded as a site for The Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). TEFAP is a program through the USDA designed to provide low income households with food. Every month, the ministry will receive USDA food and offer it through our food pantry. We will ask a few additional questions when folks come in, to screen for eligibility for the program, and recipients will be recorded in a monthly report. In alignment with our commitment to guest choice, no guest has to take the food if they don’t want it, and quantity limits are still in place to ensure that we can feed more in our community.

TEFAP food will just subsidize the food that we’re already offering. We will continue to source food from other sources, including individual donations. Since TEFAP offerings are limited, it will only be a small piece of the work that we do, but we are excited for this additional partnership that can provide our guests with more nutritious food for their households.

If you or someone you know is interested in receiving TEFAP food, they will come into the pantry as usual during our regular hours. The food pantry is open Monday through Thursday, 10am-1pm.
