Last week we were able to distribute abundant bags of good food to our guests for Thanksgiving. Each household received a bag of shelf-stable items (with Thanksgiving classics, of course!), milk, eggs, a selection of produce, and a grocery gift card. Many volunteers came out to make this possible, and it was a busy weekend of packing bags, sorting produce, and welcoming guests for an early morning distribution.
Many thanks to our church partners who collected food items for the Thanksgiving bags. By each church collecting one item, we were able to combine our resources and generosity and fill all of the bags for our guests.
