Over the past several years, Isaiah 58 Ministries has worked hard to create a volunteer program that welcomes a diverse network of people who are committed to our work and ministry. We currently have over 50 active volunteers who share their time and talents each week in a variety of ways.
Recently we were reminded once again how blessed we are by those who give of their heart and hands.
Shari and Jacob Klein are examples of some of our many dedicated volunteers. Volunteering throughout the pandemic, in all kinds of weather and situations, they have given (and continue to give) from their hearts on a weekly basis. We celebrate the relationships they have formed with our guests and other volunteers and the many ways they make our ministry thrive.
In addition to helping organize and distribute our bounty during Fresh Food Friday each week, they also transport the generous food and hygiene donations shared by the community at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church. They work closely to ensure a strong and healthy connection between the ministry and their church.
But Shari brings more than just her time; she brings her talent too. Recently, she donated a striking canvas that she painted. With it’s vibrant colors and incredible image, it now hangs proudly in the ministry hallway. It brighten not only Isaiah 58 Ministries’ facilities, but also the lives of the guests and volunteers at the ministry.
What a blessing! We are so grateful for the sharing of time, talents and treasure by Shari and Jacob and all the volunteers and supporters of the ministry.
We invite you to stop on by and check out some of the other incredible artwork shared by Shari.
