By Rev. Meredith Jackson, Program Director
The saying, “volunteers make it happen” isn’t just a casual statement or platitude at Isaiah 58 Ministries. It is the reality of our work. Every week over 50 people generously offer their time and energy to the needs of the ministry, and we are forever grateful. Our team of volunteers come from down the street, and from 20 miles away. They have a variety of gifts and skills. Some are members of our supporting congregations, and others stumbled across us while walking their dogs. Each person who gives their time to the ministry is an important part of the impact that we have on the world.
Today we celebrate our volunteers who work in:
- Advocacy & Public Policy
- Annual & Special Events
- Board & Committees
- Clothing Shopping Assistant
- Clothing Sorting & Stocking
- Community Events
- Communications
- Donation Sorting & Stocking
- Driving for Donation Pick-ups
- Driving Assistants
- Facility Improvement
- Food Pantry Shopping
- Food Pantry Stocking
- Fresh Food Friday
- Hospitality
- Intake
- Mobile Market
- And More
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to Isaiah 58 Ministries.
