Rev. Brenda Booth
Executive Director
Rev. Brenda Booth is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She earned her Master of Divinity degree from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma and began her pastoral journey serving congregations in Oklahoma and Iowa.
In 2006, Rev. Booth followed a new call to St. Louis, where she has served as the Executive Director of Isaiah 58 Ministries for 20 years. Under her leadership, the ministry has grown into a vital presence in the community – providing food, clothing, and essential resources, while also creating space for dignity, connection and belonging to thrive. She is deeply committed to helping the church live out its calling beyond its walls, building partnerships and programs that respond to real needs and creates lasting, transformative change.
Rev. Booth is known for her ability to cast vision for the future, and invites others into that vision – encouraging both her team and the wider community to become the heart and hands of God in the world. Her work is grounded in the believe that when people come together with compassion and courage, lives – and communities – can be transformed.
Outside of her ministry, Brenda find renewal in the beauty of creation. She enjoys hiking, tending the garden, and traveling to new places – always seeking moments of wonder, rest and inspiration along the way.
